I’m Slavica, a certified Serbian language teacher with a Master’s degree in Serbian Language and Literature and three years of teaching experience.
Over the years, I’ve worked with students of different ages, nationalities, and backgrounds, which has taught me that every student learns differently.
I’m very patient, communicative, and easy-going, and I always try to create a friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and simply speaking Serbian.
For me, teaching is connecting with people and making the learning process something you can genuinely enjoy.
I look forward to meeting you and learning Serbian together!

My lessons are personalized to each student’s level, goals, interests, and learning pace.
During a typical lesson, we combine conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and practical everyday Serbian. I use a coursebook as a foundation, but I also prepare my own materials and homework to help students practise between lessons. As you progress, I encourage more and more conversation so that you can become confident using Serbian in real-life situations.
Whatever brings you to Serbian, I’ll be happy to help you learn at your own pace and enjoy the process.
